Shard Studios® is a product design company focused on creating sporting equipment that solves problems athletes face before, during, and after training or competition.

I founded Shard Studios® after completing my industrial design studies at Victoria University and recovering from back-to-back ACL injuries. The company was established as a dynamic hub for developing innovative, market-ready sporting solutions. This journey began with the launch of VITOOL® - the world’s first rugby and football multi-tool, now used by teams across New Zealand and globally, including the All Blacks and Super Rugby teams. I oversee and direct all aspects of the company’s operations.

Multidisciplinary design and business skills - industrial design (Prototyping, product development, CAD, 3D printing, laser cutting, CNC machining, packaging design), creative direction, graphic design, UI/web design, 3D rendering, animation, videography, photography, sales, marketing, management and ongoing operation of Shard Studios.
